No wonder your already slow connection is even slower. I live (literally) in the jungle in Costa Rica and have learned very well how to cope. First, run your own cable to your house and connect where it is faster (mine is about 5 miles long) or just quit bitching about it.... satellite works everywhere, cable TV companies carry I-net, loads of possibilities.
