I and a few others...very few, by the way...were complaining when the President started bombing another country that was no threat to us nor had not caused us any harm. The President did not go before the UN to seek approval and in fact did not even go to congress to seek approval. After 77 days of bombing we and our allies went in and took over without an "exit strategy". It took more than a decade before the invaded country declared its independence, yet the UN Security Council has still not recognized it. The anti-war crowd was mostly silent during this outrage because the President belonged to the political party they supported. Partisanship will always trump principles. After 71 days of bombing a protest march was held in Washington with a small fraction of the numbers that protested the Vietnam War.
