Hollywood, The problem is the Democrats are equally off course. Both parties are locked into party rhetoric; there is no such thing as compromise and we can forget about either side working to find true solutions that work for all the country. Bush and Obama were/are equally horrible, but from very different perspectives. The politicians that will right this country are not beholden to uncompromising political philosophies, but they are also currently not elected and likely won't be in this fucked up two party system.
My objection to VT is he’s a typical lemming to the two party system. The Republicans are evil; the Democrats are saviors. The system will not be corrected as long as a large portion of the population views the landscape thru either red or blue glasses. We are all human, we are all Americans. With few exceptions we all want health care that works for everyone. It’s just how we achieve it that generates debate. Claiming an entire class of people (Republicans) don’t want these things simply because they have different ideas on how to achieve them is not helpful. It’s just more hate and fear mongering.
