1) This is a straw-man question as only a majority of Americans are against Health Care Reform as proposed and explained by Obama and Democrats. 2) If they are incapable of passing any bill even with their majorities (I note that these are vastly larger majorities than the GOP has had since 1928 so please note the qualitatively & quantitative difference in the majority in 2009 than the GOP majories of 2001, 2003-2006) their base will see the Democratic leadership are useless... 3) The issue now for the Democrats is not about rational and reasoned Health Care Reform but anything passable that they can call "Reform" regardless of how it effects Health Care... It is called about lusting about power, not Health care Reform... 4) As a aside, how you noticed the increasing Brown-shirt tactic by the Democrats and their allies in the non-debate "debate" ( most stories are not about issues but tactics)...
