You could not be more wrong. The very existence of the federal
government is to assure the individual citizens' and state rights as
guaranteed by the constitution, NOT to diminish them in ANY way.

No where in the constitution are "Federal rights" listed; only the
duties to protect mine, yours and those of the individual states.

Please show me ONE clause in the constitution that allows the FEDS to
protect and place themselves and their interests (regardless of what
they are) above that/those of the individual person or state.
