Doc, Fine, I despise that class as well. I completely agree with everything you have said here - about them. But that's not who was being discussed here, and that's the problem. People tend to demonize the super rich but then enact policy that hits the upper middle class and moderately wealthy as well.
If I'm making $250K/year I likely want to live a lifestyle that this kind of money can support. That's why I worked so hard to get to that point. What gives government - and those in search of endless entitlements - the right to label me as "wealthy", having more money than I really need, and therefore view me as an endless source of money to fund their projects?
