This is utter nonsense. So if my house is on fire but my fire extinguisher doesn't have a proper regulator, I should not use it and allow the house to burn down ---------- if it is an ongoing process, and one of the firetrucks could cause a life to be lost because of safety considerations, it would be taken out of service until it was safe. Life is more important than property.
