A good thought. Everybody knows it, Dems and Repubs alike, so the real question
is "why do the Repub congressmen sit on their hands and do nothing about it?"
That's the mystery.
It reminds me of the OJ Simpson trial where the preponderance of evidence
pointed to him being guilty while he was declared not guilty. In that case, we
now know that it was a textbook case of jury nullification, and we know why, so
there is no mystery there any more.
But for BHO, there is still a mystery as to why he isn't being raked over the
coals, censored, and put up for impeachment by the Repubs.
Another metaphor is cerce la femme... we have to find the driving force that
nullifies the Repubs.
One theory is cowardice... they are afraid (e.g. Boehner).
Another is defeatism ("Aww, nobody will listen...").
Another is "We have bigger fish to fry", which is probably the case; and that
worries me the most because it is very short-sighted.
My position is that Obama has become the biggest fish of all.... like Hitler
was in 1938.
My reaction has been since 2009 that we must all write our congressmen and
senators incessantly and drum on this egregious (their) oversight.
