If he didn't like Nick's he sure wasn't going to like
hers either, because she no intention of leaving Nick and that was that.
"We better head out." she said, slipping her hand into his
and nodding at Derek, who returned the gesture.
Then, before they reached the entryway he called out to
them.
"Good luck," Derek said, tone quiet "And I do understand. We just have to
make sure the team stays together."
He looked at Nick, remembering the promise he made to the
man that was like a son to him in Ireland. That he would never again
split up the team if they were ever in this situation again. His words
and expression were to assure Nick he remembered and would abide by it.
"Report every half hour." told them by way of letting them
go, turning to the console and putting a computer call to Sloan in London
to report what was happening.

Nick saw the look on Derek's face and knew he was going to keep his
promise he had made him. He knew Derek was a man of his word but would do
anything that it took to keep these keys from falling into the wrong
hands. He led Julia out of the control room before telling Derek "We'll be
sure to check in every 30 minutes." He then led Julia to the door and said
"is there anything you think we are going to need?"
