Nick laughed at Rachel's comment. "Yeah we won't have to force them to eat
anything. That's good isn't it Jules?"
Nick looked over at Derek and smiled. "Defensive stomachs...sounds like
something that could be used in the legacy."
Derek's lips twitched as he admitted wryly "My thoughts exactly." Then he
sobered and nodded at the man that was like a son to him "I'm happy for you,
Nick. You deserve this more than anyone I know."
Julia smiled at the joking comment and winked to say the idea was a good
one, but her smile grew warm at Derek's words. Nick had been through a lot
in his life and although she wasn't too sure she was the best prize for it
all, she was always glad when he was happy and planned on making him that
way.. ooooooh 24/7, she thought to herself with another grin.
<<Nick/Derek part, then..>>
"We better be going." Derek reminded them of the bouncing ball of energy
that had returned the phone to Alex and was now going on about what was
waiting for them at the house and how it felt to elope. "I think it just
might be possible for someone to fly out of here."
