Moncrieff approached the witness stand to speak with his reluctant partner with a
confident look on his face. Moncrieff had an ace up his sleeve.
"When Jimmy Boyle made his second escape from hell, you immediately gave chase, did
you not?" he asked soulchaser
"I did" The Guardian of Damned souls answered.
"So during that chase, you let your guard down and another damned soul, and quite a
nasty one, might I add, chose that moment to make his getaway and attack you as well.
Who was it."
"He is known in hell as the Hunter," Soulchaser replied. "Just what are you getting
at?"
"It all seems so coincidental doesn't it?," Moncrieff continued. "But perhaps the
Hunter knew what the defendant was planning ahead of time! He knew that if the Hunter
took you out that he would get off scott-free. Not only did Jimmy Boyle attempt to
sell his own brother out, He sold you out as well, S.C."
