Julia turned to the Soulchaser "Could you answer the question please."

"Well, in my expert opinion," Soulchaser began, exaggerating the word
'expert' to get on Moncrieff's nerves.  "That was, indeed, Satan's motive
for taking Jimmy Boyle's soul."

Julia nodded.  The case was just a stitch away from being sewed up - and
without Jimmy Boyle even having to take the stand.

"Also, in your professional opinion," she asked the question "With the
evidence provided thus far, does Jimmy Boyle deserve to be a damned soul?"

"After all," she added before the other lawyer could object but still in a
casual, even slightly mocking tone just for him "Who else would be the
expert on damned souls but the guardian himself? Other than Satan that is."

She looked back at the Soulchaser, eyebrow raised and waiting for the
answer.
