It really looks like this, 4 of the 5 servers I collect data from (ntp1-3.home4u.ch and ntp1.bug.ch, all with 10 Mbit/s) are also in the tr zone. But only two of them (ntp1+3.home4u.ch) get more traffic, which is still increasing. On the other two servers the typical tr peaks are almost gone.

@Ask: Could it be, that the DNS rotation does not use all the IP addresses from a zone in the same way?

Alternatively it could be, that the resolving DNS servers from this large ISP in tr does cache the answers longer as was the Pool DNS is announcing.

Maybe it has something to do with the interval of this devices doing the sntp request (and those also resolve through DNS), which does mess with the currently set TTL of 150. Eventually setting it to a more random value like e.g. 143 (or 157) could help. So it does not change exactly every 2.5 minutes, which could be bad if the devices do the query on an exact multiple of this, e.g. every 10 Minutes.
