Does anybody have a suggestion on what might be the issue with my Garmin 18 LVC? I did a simple wiring arrangement to make sure nothing involving LEDs or Resistors was causing my problems. But in looking at the data feed via the COM port, all I see is garbage and can only assume one thing, "A busted Garmin Receiver". In comparison I cabled up a Sure Electronics board just to make sure the Port, Cabling, etc wasn't a possible issue with the problems I'm seeing.
Any suggestions on what might be at fault are appreciated.
