On another mailing list, someone posted some new (to me) info on Runbox so
I beavered along to the website to check it out.
Runbox states they have completed their upgrade. Checking the settings, it
seems that their SMTP server will on 'listen' on Port 25 **and** Port 26.
For any listers using free (or even bad **unfree**) ISP's that block Port
25, this might be worth checking out. It would make an alternative to
Softhome and Mochamail.
I would happily check it out myself but after my recent experience with
AT&T Canada and their Port 25 block (on my Point of Presence -"old PoP; bad
PoP" to quote the tech rep who delivered the final word!), I signed up with
the local telco, whose ISP offers great service and no port blocks.
