Hm. Don't lightning bolts create ozone in the lower atmosphere, down where
we are, or between us and the clouds? And isn't the ozone layer (the ozone
we like) way above that, in another part of the atmosphere? A part we
couldn't really deliver ozone to, or zap effectively? --Lots of ozone is
bad for you if you inhale it, by the way: it eats your sense of smell. I
think. Actual chemists or climatologists on this list: please correct my
errors.
