well, i enjoyed the movie. at times it seemed to be a bunch of americans
imported to some european locale with bjork and dame deneuve mixed in so
people would go see it. I took a friend of mine who somehow had never even
heard of it and explained it only as a modern day musical with bjork...but,
i was confused for the first 20 mins or so, cuz there was no singin...i have
selma songs though, so when the film stock changed and everything became mtv
like, i was ready for the songs...the whole sound of music thing was lost on
me, and didn't really make sense.
who i would take to the movie: people who don't like bjork...there are some
good bjork jokes made by the director for her little play, and man, that
last image...bjork silent. lumberjacks dancing was pretty funny too...
oh yeah, hello...
