1) Too late. We already have some extra patches for various ports because they somehow improve our workflow. 2) You're outvoted. Looks like at least brad@, cloder@, deanna@ and I like the idea of removing code that gets in the way. 3) Don't like the way the OpenBSD ports tree works? Take your own advice and fork it.
