Matt has been told bad things by bad people. I saw Bad Company (with Kansas opening) in the 70's and they rocked just fine. The drummer was a bit thuddy, if you know what I mean, but the rest of the band was competent. If you want a bad show, try crack-era David Crosby and Graham Nash. Or heroin-era Grateful Dead.
