(didn't mean to take so long to respond,
was too tired);

As for using telnet(thanks for the info
I'll have to compile that into the system
and see what it produces.

In regards to the -t option,
are there modules that need to be put into
/etc/postfix/main.cf
to help with this purpose?
As for:
To:, Cc:, and Bcc: headers.
I'll have to check balsa and see what it
options it gives for those.

The issue I have is I compose with balsa,(everything looks fine);
all headers seem intact,
then after sending somewhere something is not doing it's
process(or at least I need to tell it to do so);

(I guess the best question for me to ask is)
Where is the main location for a message header?
or
what app/lib is responsible for doing all the work(my guess
is emime);

I'll have to do some Google on message headers,
and make sure that I'm not leaving anything out(app/lib)
so that whatever is responsible for processing the message header
processes it correctly.
and also any other configuration that needs to be taken care of.

man all this just to send an e-mail to my gmail account!

regards;
