since I assume you con't control that server, you need to change
relayhost to [mail.gmx.com]:465
and then change server name in /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd into
[mail.gmx.com]:465
As I just replied to Peter, this change does"nt change anything....
Of course I changed the sasl_passwd too!
