Since it's my code so I know what it produces: Yeah :)

But I double-checked by actually manually inspecting the lines in
question.

Now *that* is an inconsistency I would never in a million years have
expected.

Yeah.

So I guess that means download, build, install, and run a newer
version of postfix. Oh well, not the first time I've done that :)
