I have tried everything I can think of to get Postfix to work with TLS. openssl s_client -connect 127.0.0.1:587 -starttls smtp CONNECTED(00000003) 081025E252280000:error:0A00010B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number:ssl/record/ssl3_record.c:360: --- no peer certificate available --- No client certificate CA names sent --- SSL handshake has read 426 bytes and written 330 bytes Verification: OK --- New, (NONE), Cipher is (NONE) Secure Renegotiation IS NOT supported Compression: NONE Expansion: NONE No ALPN negotiated Early data was not sent Verify return code: 0 (ok)
I get the same message if I use port 587; I have attached the output of postconf -nf and postconf Mf. I know I must be doing something stupid, but I don't know what.
