Dear Wietse,

thank you for your reply.

When a domain name is listed in virtual_alias_domains, then:

It is not. It is listed in virtual_mailbox_domains.
https://www.postfix.org/ADDRESS_CLASS_README.html aims to
describe the purpose of each class.

I followed the sympa documentation, where the domain is set as virtual_mailbox_domain. I do not dare to discuss if that is correct, as i am aware of my missing knowledge.

The address in question is aliased to a piped transport with the same address. That is usefull in a transport_table.

In transport.sympa, the domain in question is listed. This is usefull in virtual_mailbox_domains.

transport.sympa is in virtual_mailbox_maps, so the address should be found when luukuped. And the format is ok, as is shown by the postalias command.

transport.sympa is NOT necessary in virtual_mailbox_maps, because - as you wrote - all mappings map to the same domain. I added it here out of desperation.

But i will never know what exactly happened. I configured two other domains the same way, with copying, and changing the domains with search and replace. And they worked, only lists.qno.de did not work.

After deleting the corresponding line, writing it anew, and postmap'ing the file, this works now, too. Sorry for occupying your time.

Thanks a lot,
QNo
