OK, try this in the aliases file:

    owner-abc-alias: postmaster

(or some other suitable address)

where abc-alias is the name of your distribution list.

Setting an owner- alias used to be standard usage for alias-based
kind of distribution list, usually incombination with an :include:
file that is maintained by ancient software like majordomo.

I won't bore you with the details.
