It's interesting to hear that Solaris is somehow still alive. I thought they
killed it long ago, already when Oracle acquired Sun... My work as a
sysadmin started on Solaris many years back (it was Solaris 2.5.1 then).
Later I did some programming work on Solaris 9 and 10, but after the Sun
acquisition my company switched fully from Solaris to Linux and I didn't
hear about Solaris since then...
