Which is fine, it all depends on how valuable you find the service.
Since I have not used any of them yet (DNSBLs), I'm trying to gather
feedback from other email admins and see if they had any major issues
with such block lists.

Yes, I've heard this many times - do not run your own mail server.
However when you do it yourself, you have the freedom to make your own
decisions and also get much better privacy.
