Hi,
im testing relay_recipient_maps with ldap. The problem is, what
happends when there is a network issue between the ldap and postfix
server? What id like is when there is an error quering the ldap,
that postfix should either only temporary refuse the message or
allow it anyway.
I read about soft_bounce, but afaik it will always do a soft_bounce
even with the ldap connection is working and the recipient is not
found.
To summarize:
1. recipient found in ldap = ACCEPT mail
2. recipient not found in ldap (but no other error) = DENY mail
3. ldap could not be queried = TEMPORARY REFUSE mail
Is that possible?
This is the default for all (map-) query types Postfix supports...
Regards
Andreas
