Not from what you've said. Why not just shut the entire server OFF... power it down. But, I agree with everyone else... this is just plain silliness, a waste of time, energy, and will, in the long run, create far more problems than it can possibly ever solve... the 'problem' is, you probably won't even know what mail you do miss because of it.
