Yes, this is the correct solution.

In future both domain users will migrate to one of them.
I think to use explicit aliasing in one direction and global aliasing
in another.
Is it bad?

Don't use wildcard or global rewrites in virtual_alias_maps or canonical_maps. They defeat recipient validation, which will clog your queue with undeliverable messages and will get you blacklisted as a backscatter source.
