Start by making sure that these match: /etc/resolv.conf /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf When cli dns tools work, that usually means the first file above is correct, fsvo "correct". When postfix can't resolve dns, it usually means the second file's contents have changed since it was working previously. Your files might be in slightly different locations depending on your OS, but you get the general idea of what you need to look for. Hope this helps, and is timely.
