please tell us more. give all details (including the errors that you see in outlook).

also, when you use telnet, what's shown with the 421 code? is there any text after it?

are you running more than one anti-virus? are you running any other security software (firewall, ...) on your windows box?

can you disable avast firewall (if any) and try again?


anyway, your problem doesn't look like a postfix issue. you'll get more help on avast or other forums/list/...
