Ok, something strange is come out.

Here is the list of tables on postfix database:

+-----------------------+
Tables_in_postfix
+-----------------------+
admin
alias
alias_domain
config
domain
domain_admins
fetchmail
log
mailbox
quota
quota2
vacation
vacation_notification
+-----------------------+
13 rows in set (0.00 sec)

All the tables have as default charset "latin1" except for
"vacation_notification". That is "DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8"

My system is an OpenSuSE 11.2, and mysql is mysql-5.1.49-0.1.1.x86_64.

Can be this the problem ? I have checked this into another similar
server, and the results are the same... all the tables are latin1,
except for "vacation_notification", wich is "utf8", but there is no
trace of this problem on the other server......

Any idea?

Cordially,

Claudio Prono.
