Exactly why I installed pdns recursor on my MX about a year ago or so. I'd been using my ISP's resolvers and began having problems with them. I switched to Google's resolvers and Zen lookups broke. I then installed pdns recursor and have had zero problems since, and much lower lookup latencies. -- Stan
