- Date headers are set by MUAs.
- Received headers are added by MTAs, often on a different machine.
- Some messages are resent by the original recipient to new recipients,
and have both "Date" and "Resent-Date" headers. The latter indicate
the date the MUA submitted the message to the new recipients.
