I'm having an issue with postfix aliases and full mailboxes. I have an alias:
mygroup: user1 user2 user3 When I send email to mygroup, it is successfully delivered to user1 and user2, but user3 has a full mailbox (hit the mailbox_size_limit). So the message gets queued: B9A8C3052E4D 1207 Fri May 16 10:03:05 [email protected] (can't create user output file) [email protected] [email protected] Ten minutes later Postfix redelivers the message to the whole group, so user1 and user2 get another copy, and this repeats with every delivery attempt so that everyone ends up with a half dozen copies of the same message. Of course user3 should clean up his mailbox, but I'd still like to prevent the duplicate deliveries if possible. -- John Vestrum [email protected] Unix Systems Administrator University of Minnesota Supercomputing Institute
