I'm running a stress test against Postfix, running smtp-source command with 1.000 parallel connections from one source IP. When postscreen is active, at about 400-460 connections I get "421 4.3.2 All server ports are busy". For 1-2 days I tried to find a solution in the postscreen documentation and change various parameters such as those below, but no luck so far and I'm out of ideas. smtpd_client_connection_rate_limit = 0 smtpd_client_connection_count_limit = 0 (also tried with 1.000+) smtpd_client_message_rate_limit = 0 smtpd_client_recipient_rate_limit = 0 smtpd_client_new_tls_session_rate_limit = 0 default_process_limit=2500 and few others (smtpd/smtp related) in master.cf. If I deactivate postscreen or run the test on port 587 everything goes as expected. I would like to have postcreen in place too, in order to be able to manage limits when will be needed.
