 3 instances is
 nothing, 10 is likely fine, depending on the smtpd(8)
 and smtp(8) process limits limits for each
 one.  As for 50, that
 seems a bit
 ambitious.  If the machine can host 50 VMs running
 Postfix it can handle at least that many
 instances on a single O/S.
