You're confusing the email address with the login username. MUAs typically have separate configuration for the port 587 submission service username and password. Your MUA is configured to login as "[email protected]". The Postfix settings are not presently relevant to this "mismatch" issue. > submission inet n - - - - smtpd > -o smtpd_etrn_restrictions=reject > -o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_sasl_authenticated,reject > ... > submission inet n - - - - smtpd > -o smtpd_etrn_restrictions=reject > -o smtpd_enforce_tls=yes > -o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes Incidentally, You seem to be defining the submission service twice in master.cf, that's already confusing you, because you enabled SASL logins in the second, but tried defining access controls in the fist. The stock (commented out by default) submission service template in the master.cf file that is included with Postfix source is: #submission inet n - n - - smtpd # -o syslog_name=postfix/submission # -o smtpd_tls_security_level=encrypt # -o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes # -o smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient=no # -o smtpd_client_restrictions=$mua_client_restrictions # -o smtpd_helo_restrictions=$mua_helo_restrictions # -o smtpd_sender_restrictions=$mua_sender_restrictions # -o smtpd_recipient_restrictions= # -o smtpd_relay_restrictions=permit_sasl_authenticated,reject # -o milter_macro_daemon_name=ORIGINATING start with that, and adjust mua_client_restrictions mua_helo_restrictions mua_sender_restrictions in main.cf if desired. If your Postfix is older than 2.10, replace "smtpd_relay_restrictions" above with "smtpd_recipient_restrictions". -- Viktor.
