It works with multi-instance names. What is the result for the stock
master.cf file, which has entries as shown below?
submission inet n - n - - smtpd
-o syslog_name=postfix/submission
...
smtps inet n - n - - smtpd
-o syslog_name=postfix/smtps
...
This logs process names as: postfix/submission/smtpd, postfix/smtps/smtpd.
