They are aliases to a user.  u...@domain.net <mailto:u...@domain.net> that also 
has an alias in the alias table, u...@domain.net <mailto:u...@domain.net> along 
with us...@otherdomain.net <mailto:us...@otherdomain.net> and 
us...@otherdomain.net <mailto:us...@otherdomain.net>

All users and aliases are virtual users and aliases mapped in a MySQL database.
