you're welcome, unfortunately it's a different situation at each reboot. now clcl is showing, but I'm missing other icons from early startup programs. I can't pinpoint one application in particular. I'm very happy with the way pprotray is, even if it's 'only' 95% of the times 'right'. I will tell you if I can spot a pattern of missing icons, but so far I can't.
