>From what I have read about the Vistas security model (User
Authentification), you will need to make sure PowerPro runs with full
administrative privileges to work under Vista. For security reasons,
Vista tries to prevent one programming influencing another. But
influencing other programs is what PowerPro is mainly meant to do.

Of course, one way to do this is to turn off the UAC and run as an
adminstrator yourself.

I think there may be ways of "signing" PowerPro to ask that it always
be run with full administrative rights, but I lack the tools to do
this, and don't know if they are available without a whole new
development environment, which I do not plan to get for now.

I myself am probably at least a year away from considering a Vista
upgrade.
