No problem.

Be _very_ careful! There are _lots_ of little things to break -
especially the screw holes that hold the hinges to the back of he LCD
assembly. Those strip extremely easily.

MR> What do you mean by reseat? Is it the plug at the end of the
MR> ribon that needs to be re-connected, or is it just a re-disposition

Re-seating is the act of unplugging the cable, checking the connectors
for cruft and junk, and then plugging them back in. As for scrunching
them up - you shouldn't do that/have to do that.

The ribbon cables in the 5xx series are hard laminate cables and
don't take kindly to sharp folds and bends. They break easily. I had
to replace the small speaker one because I bent it too far.

Generally if you look there are places to run these but some of them
are tricky. For instance the video cable form the motherboard curls
_around_ the right hinge. It won't work any other way. The easiest
way to install that is to remove the right hinge after carefully
popping off the "bullet" cover and then re-install the hinge into the
"curl" or the cable after it's properly plugged in. If you do this
make sure that the back of the LCD assembly is supported in some
manner or you'll put stress and almost certainly break the hinge
mounting screw on the back of the assembly. Once you break those you
have to search E-bay or somewhere to find a replacement casing because
the can no be easily repaired.
