I was intrigued by Clark's comments about using DiskCopy to make disk images of CD-ROMs on a HD. Clark, can you do use DiskCopy with audio CDs? Is there a way to "play" music CDs on a old PB if you have a large enough HD?
"If you want to use a CD-ROM in your regular use of the laptop there is a solution that doesn't include lugging an external drive around. When I got a 5300c I installed a 20Gb drive in it. I use DiskCopy to make a disk image of CD-ROMs on the HD. I can then mount the disk image on the desktop. It appears to the system as another disk but without the need for a physical disk drive and disk. It is also faster than a CD-ROM drive." Frank C. Modica 501 E.
