yup 7.2 drivers will work with the 1400 with os 8.6 and 9.1 i had it on my book but went bak to 9.1 i like it better but on to the wep question. first off wep sucks(wep can be broken) it slows down your network all it means is that if wep is off anybody driving around and finds your network, they will be able to surf the net from there car as, long as you have your individual computers with guest access turned off they wont get into your puters. (and dont make your passwords for the puters your home address or street address or your last name to easy to figure out). and please dont make your base station password an easy one thats the number one killer to many times ive seen ap passwords set to the default of admin.(lol),come on peeps cant you think of something a little more original. the bottom line is just make sure guest access is turned off on all puters on the network and they are passworded.
