I've played around so more to no avail. A 2GB SCSI drive on the same string *is* seen.
The drive works OK on the Wallstreet, but plugging it into the older PB brings no joy.
Yes, I swapped them while powered down; I started the CD & HD first, then booted up the Powerbook. And rebooted it. And cursed and rebooted. I've tried 3 sets of cables.
Is there some parallel to Apple System Profile for OS 7.5.2? Or other tools I should be using?
{I have considerable experience with SCSI -- and have ordered a black rooster for the next full moon, just in case....but this does not appear to be a SCSI issue....}
