I was thinking that 7.02 would take more RAM (I've only got 64 MB) but after installing 6.2 on the 1400 I see it takes 28 Mb which is the same as 7.02 takes on the G3 Lombard.
Is there any reason not to use 7.02?
7.02 is OS X only.
Not quite. Netscape 7.0 and even 7.1 do run under Mac OS 8.6 and 9.1, but prefer 10.1 or later. You may be thinking of Netscape 7.2.
