Exacto make a blade that is used to score plastic sheets it works well for
very accurate work. There are also tools sold to score plexiglass before
snapping. I use these to open and repair old talking dolls that no longer
work as well as re-building batteries. I haven't found one near me but have
been told that model shops that sell remote car, airplane and boats also
sell the single cells required to repack the batteries.
