You need to get some software to recondition your battery, if it is possible. It really sounds as if your battery is hosed, though. Still
worth a try.

I've got and run IBR and EMMpathy, and when the 'book is connected to the charger, both work through their cycles fine. The smart probe reveals everything working properly, except for one value: "Standard dT/dt values?" reads "No" in red. that's all. It actually seems to sleep and wake ok from the battery, but will not power up once shut down, under battery power alone. It's a big problem for me - could it be backup battery or PRAM related?
